Clothing - Beginning and Intermediate
Learn pattern layout, cutting and sewing techniques, proper selection of materials and receive assistance with common problems in the construction and finishing of garments. In the classroom, various sewing machines, sergers, and overlock machines are available for student use. At the Main facility you will also learn how to operate the new embroidery machine. We now have over 50,000 designs to choose from. Registration is with the instructor.

FEE: $115 per section
Learn upholstery basics, techniques, and preparation to work with fabric, vinyl and canvas. Learn the use of upholstery sewing machines, power and hand tools. Work is done on furniture upholstery only. Students must bring their own furniture project to work on and supply their own materials. No work piece over four (4) feet is permitted. No leather work is permitted. Students must remove project and all materials at the end of the semester. Class size is limited to 18 students and enrollment is on a "first-come, first-served" basis.
Minimum enrollment of 12 students required
