Caregiver Training
In this class, you will learn how to care for the bedbound, measure vital signs, communicate effectively, manage medications, pain management, aid with wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, and canes. We offer hands-on training, certificate of completion for program graduates, First Aid and CPR training.
*TB Test required for externship. Students must be able to lift 50 lbs with good body mechanics.
This class is free for eligible OAS ESL students in levels 3–6.
No high school diploma required.
