Accounting and QuickBooks
This course is divided into four sections: Intro to Accounting, Accounting 1, Intro to QuickBooks, and QuickBooks 1. At these classes, more than taking a software class, you will build skills you can use immediately. Learn to analyze, plan, record, and interpret financial information such as journals, worksheets, income statements, balance sheets, banking, and payroll. The QuickBooks course teaches you to create company files, work with customers and vendors; and work with inventory, payroll, time estimates, and time tracking; as well as customizing and integrating QuickBooks, and more. It is highly recommended that students take lower level classes prior to registering for Accounting 1 and QuickBooks 1. Students need a textbook for both Intro to Accounting and Accounting 1 classes, and another book for Intro to QuickBooks and QuickBooks 1. Both books can be purchased at the OAS office for $47 and $106 respectively. Computer Lab available to students concurrently registered in any OAS computer class.
