Accounting and QuickBooks
Prepare for a job assisting a busy accounting department! This is a 15-week lab class including three 5-week sessions. Each subject is a separate course and may require more than a 5-week session to complete, depending on your skill level. This course is divided into three sections: Intro to Accounting, Intro to QuickBooks, and QuickBooks 1. Learn to analyze, plan, record, and interpret financial information such as journals, worksheets, income statements, balance sheets, banking, and payroll.
QuickBooks is one of the most widely used business accounting and bookkeeping software programs in the market. The QuickBooks course teaches you to create company files, work with customers and vendors; and work with inventory, payroll, time estimates, and time tracking; as well as customizing and integrating QuickBooks, and more. Computer Lab is available to students concurrently registered in any OAS computer class.
